1. We should keep trying tricks by which cooking gas consumption is reduced. While boiling Tuar Dal, if you add 1 teaspoon sugar, it will be done sooner than when sugar is not used.
2. Cleaning dishes is a task to reckon with. What about an herbal alternative to chemical cleaners? A mixture of hibiscus leaves, ash and Common Salt works great. When we add neem leaves to this mixture, we can make use of its antiseptic properties as well.
3. Leaves of carrots, radish and onion have Vitamin A and C in plenty. They are good enough to be used in vegetable dishes, either separately or together, with coconut shreds as garnish.
