Fabhotels Review

I live a little away from Mumbai. When I had some work in the city, I decided to stay at Fabhotels Embassy Park, Kalina; with 2 other girls. We stayed there for 2 nights and spent one night at a friend’s home. We booked the order from Goibibo.com. The booking was easy and we got discounts.

Termites on the Wardrobe

Our Experience: The hotel is in an in descript place. It is difficult to find it without the help of Google maps. If people do not want to be disturbed, they can go to this hotel for stay. The security is not very efficient. We had to wait for the porter to come down. The reception is on the first floor. The porter came down a little late and took our luggage to the first-floor reception.

After all the formalities were completed, we were taken to an executive room on the third floor.

Our luck, we got the last room on the floor, without any disturbance. The room boys were very prompt as far as bringing tea to our room was concerned. One of us is on Ayurvedic medicine and needs to have it with warm water. The room boys found it difficult to bring that to our room. We would get it much later than we had asked for it.

Termites near the Windows

Comparatively, 2 of the room boys, who would bring the tea to us, worked well. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff is not efficient. They did not clean the room well. There are termites in strategic places like the wardrobe and near the windows. In particular places, there were spider webs as well. The washroom was clean, to some extent. But, the commode has not been cleaned properly. Even the wall and the floor near the drain were not cleaned properly. Another downside point was that the wifi was miserably slow.

There is a temple inside the compound. It appeared that it is a residential building with some floors being allotted to the hotel. One of the room boys told us that it was not residential but commercial premises.

Price: Rs.8183/- for 2 nights.

Warning: Unrelated couples are not allowed to stay together. We were girls. So we were allowed in the same room. All the guests need to provide their Aadhaar card or any other nationally accepted identity and address proofs.
