The color that the beetroot lends to the raita is a visual delight. Beetroot Carrot Raita is full of calcium, iron, omega 3 and vitamin A – very healthy for everyone including kids with tantrums.
Beetroot Carrot Raita
- Carrot grated – half cup
- Beetroot boiled/steamed and grated – half cup
- Curd whisked – one cup
- Walnuts chopped – 3-4
- Salt and roasted jeera powder – to taste
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk well. Serve chilled. Add the walnuts just before serving as it gives a crunch to the raita.
