What is face yoga and how did you get attracted to it?
Face yoga is a natural way of looking younger and healthier with added sense of well-being. It is combination of face exercises, face massage, acupressure and breathing techniques.
Face yoga happened to me by chance. I had this issue called TMD, which happens due to teeth grinding or due to stress that we hold in jaw area. Because of this issue, I suffered badly for months. And then one day while searching for some natural way to cure TMJ Syndrome, I came across face yoga. I found it interesting for its benefits. I started reading and researching about it to learn more and here I am today spreading awareness about face yoga.
What are the benefits of face yoga?
There are both mental and aesthetic benefits of face. It has mental benefits like:

Tell us more about yourself.
I am an aspiring fashion designer, who intends to launch my own apparel label. I have been working as a freelance designer for quite some time. As a face yogi, I really intent to spread more awareness about face yoga.
Tell us more about your insta page @fyogabyruchika. How were you inspired to start the same? And why only face yoga?
I started my insta page called @Fyogabyruchika with the sole purpose of spreading awareness. Face yoga, which is something that originated from India and other South East countries, lost its existence in its own country. When I saw a few face yogis from Western countries doing a wonderful job on spreading awareness through Instagram, I thought I should also take advantage of the platforms answering all the queries people might have relating the practice.
You take workshops on face yoga, too? Tell us about it.
After finishing my certification, I started taking virtual face yoga workshops for people around the globe. I have been working with various corporates and social organizations teaching their people the correct moves of face yoga, which not only make them calm it but also helps in improving their concentration level.
What do you look forward to?
I really look forward to helping more and more people with face yoga. I have come across a lot of people, who are bothered about the way they look. With age, they begin losing their confidence as they didn’t like the changes aging brought to their skin. For such people face yoga is a boom, it is completely natural alternative to various anti-aging techniques. It only makes people more confident the way they look, it really makes them calmer and peaceful.
