As Padmavati’s health declines from her yearning for the Lord, a mysterious gypsy woman arrives with a divine solution. Witness the moment King Akasharaja formally accepts the marriage proposal, setting the path for the grand wedding of Lord Srinivasa and Padmavati in Narayanapura.

On the other hand, after having seen the Lord, Padmavati began yearning for Him and began running a fever. Dharanidevi tried to find the reason for her daughter’s condition. At that point, the chamber maids brought the Lord in the guise of the gypsy woman into the inner chamber of Dharanidevi.

The gypsy woman told her, “If you take a vow to marry your daughter to Lord Srinivasa, your daughter’s condition will improve.”

Padmavati also revealed that She wanted to marry Lord Srinivasa. As her daughter had revealed Her desire, Dharanidevi also decided to marry her daughter to the Lord.

Vakuladevi met Padmavati’s friends at Kapilatheertha, after she had freshened up and prayed at the temple there. The friends took her to Narayanapura to meet Dharanidevi. Vakuladevi revealed what was in the mind of Lord Srinivasa. The queen was happy that Padmavati’s desire was also the same. King Akasharaja gave a written acceptance of the marriage proposal to Sukracharya, the son of Sage Vyasa, to be delivered to the Lord. Sukracharya visited the mountain home of the Lord with Vakuladevi and informed Him that the wedding had been finalized by the elders.
