Give Respect, Take Respect

I wonder what people get in gossiping about others. Often even educated people are seen gossiping like illiterate people damaging other people’s reputation. Continuing with Gauri’s story, today I take this opportunity to talk about another incident in the same school. The school was for elite kids. The other teachers made fun of Gauri continuously, so that almost all the students became arrogant excepting a few. One rich brat told her point-blank, “Give respect, take respect.” A teacher has to beg for the students’ respect! Shame on our education system! Gauri had to take resort of a psychiatrist’s certificate prescribing stress-relief to get rid of the school.
Elsewhere, teachers are afraid of students because the younger lot would lie to their parents about what happened in class. The students have learnt to lie from parents and peers. They take their parents for a ride. Instead of realizing the mistake of their children, the parents blame the teachers. I wonder where the education system is going today.
