Dr. Seuss, full name Theodor Seuss Geisel, humorous article writer and cartoonist once said “Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living; it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.” So let’s start looking at the wrong side of the telescope for the New Year is round the corner. Fantasizing requires the very important quality of imagination. Thus Albert Einstein said, “Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.” Imagine what these celebrities had to say about it!
Romit Raj, TV actor: My New Year fantasy is to take Tina my wife of four years to Paris and stand in front of Eiffel Tower and spend a French White Christmas. She is the epitome of love. I can’t think of life without her. She compliments and completes me. I have never been to Paris and it’s my fantasy to go there. I don’t think I can go there instantly. I am focused on my career at the moment. I have to become really big in career that I get invited there by the tourism department.
Sachin Parikh, TV actor: I want to go on a world tour with my family and see New Year celebrations and the traditions across the globe. Also to add to it if my wife allows me to go on a date with every hot babe I find in the different countries. The places on my wish list include Australia, New York, South Africa and whole of Europe. I get dreams of world tour. I need to become rich like Ambanis for the same.
Mohammad Nazim, TV actor: I want to buy a new home, inshallah, a ten BHK sea facing apartment in Mumbai by 2016. I’ve already bought a BMW but I want to change is to an Audi. I also want to arrange for my parent’s Haj yatra. I need to earn a lot and become as successful as possible. I want to earn in crores. It’s my deepest fantasy.
Ravi Dubey, TV actor: I don’t have any fantasy as such but I’d like to live the whole year again. I want to rectify all faults and make it a productive year so ultimately next year will automatically be nice. I would like to relive my whole life and have an error less life filled with lot of maturity, peace and wisdom.
Rishina Khandhari, TV actor: My new year fantasy would be going to a private island with Brad Pitt in a small boat and having wine while listening to soft romantic music. I am a great admirer of Brand Pitt. He is a super star and just a dream of him makes me blush.
Antara Mitra, vocalist and playback singer: My new year fantasy is to sing a romantic song which is written by Gulzar sahab. I love him and his work. It will be my fantasy till I achieve it. I love him and I have just born in the wrong era. I wish to get a song in a film by him for sure. I fantasize about him.
Neelu Kohli, TV and Bollywood actor: It might sound clichéd but my New Year fantasy like every year is peace, tranquility, happiness and prosperity for my family, friends and my well wishers. On second thoughts my New Year fantasy is to play mother to either Salman Khan or Shahrukh Khan in a film which is a mother-son story.
Piyush Sachdev, TV actor: I would like to go to America for white Christmas and have a New Year with my wife Akangsha. I always dreamt of a white Christmas. It’s been on my mind for a long time. Hope by next year I will be able to achieve it. I always eagerly wait for Christmas. It gives me a good feeling. With New Year around the corner it gives a lot of positive vibes.
