Controversy about Dhanush

I would like to share a few things regarding the controversy about the South Indian actor Dhanush. First of all, for those who came late, I would like to tell them more about the actor.

Born Venkatesh Prabhu, Dhanush is a famous South Indian actor, producer, director, lyricist, writer and playback singer, well-known for his work in Tamil movies. Dhanush debuted with the 2002 movie Thulluvadho Ilamai directed by his father Kasthuri Raja. He won the National Award for Best Actor for his work in the 2010 movie Aadukalam. He has won total 3 National Film Awards and 7 Filmfare Awards. Dhanush tasted international fame with his song Why this kolaveri di… from the movie 3. This song was the first Indian song to get more than 100 million views on YouTube.

He debuted in Hindi movies with the 2013 release Ranjhnaa, which was a hit movie. His second Hindi movie Shamitabh released in 2015 did not do well in the box office. He has his own production company Wunderbar Films.
