Come summer and you start facing different uncalled for skin conditions. Human skin is very sensitive and over exposure to sun results in tanning, brown spots and rashes. We need to use effective skin care products that help us to combat damaging aftereffects of summers. Numerous skin care products like cleansers, moisturizers, sunscreens, skin repair or anti-aging products, etc. can be used to take care of your summer skin care regimen.
Cleansers:
When you talk about cleansers, they remain on your face for a small period of time – about 20-25 seconds twice daily. If you have a normal to dry skin, a cleanser can work as a boon for your skin and people with such skin types should always prefer a liquid cleanser over a dry one.
Moisturizers:
It is a myth that moisturizers should not be used during summers. If you have dry skin, moisturizers are a must have during those summery days. They prevent the appearance of fine lines and make your skin look good.
Sunscreens:
Excessive exposure to UV rays leads to many skin problems and skin tanning is one of them. Sunscreen is one of the most important skincare products during the summers. Look for gel or spray type sun blocks that will not make you feel oily. If your skin is dry, then lotions or creams will be effective in providing both sun block and much needed moisture! Look for matte finish. A matte effect sun block means that your face won’t look shiny after applying the sunblock. Make sure your sunscreen has both UVA and UVB protection in it. UVA rays cause pigmentation and photo aging, while UVB rays cause tanning and skin cancer. It is vital to get broad spectrum coverage that will block both these types of harmful rays. For UVB protection, look for the SPF symbol, and for UVA look for the PA symbol!
