Today, Indian Army is celebrating the 70th Army Day. This day commemorates the then Lieutenant General Kodandera M Cariappa taking over the command of the Indian Army as the Commander-in-chief from General Sir Francis Butcher, in 1949. New Delhi and other headquarters see parades and other military shows happening at these places. We salute the brave heart soldiers, who laid down their lives so that we live a life of peace and harmony at home, on this day. 1942 also marked the day when K M Cariappa became the first Indian Army Officer to have received the command of a unit.
The ceasefire was again violated by 7 Pakistani soldiers in J & K’s Poonch area, this morning. These intruders were killed by our soldiers and the whole area from where they had entered was destroyed completely. Our soldiers were very patient, initially. Since the men from the enemy side did not deter from their intention, our protectors destroyed them. Way to go Guys! Didn’t you know – Beware of the anger of the patient?
Soldier Brothers, you also beware of these dogs, which do not resist wagging their tails. If we cut the tails, they will wag something else. So be ready and alert always! 🙂
