What is the basic concept of Tree of Life Resorts and Spa?
The Tree of Life Resorts and Spa brand works with the essence that holiday/breaks should connect us back to nature, be it in a setting which is away from urban roads teeming with people. The idea is to combine luxury while giving an experience of the local flavor of the city we operate.
Do you generate your own electricity?
Our properties are set on huge areas and cannot sustain by self-generated electricity. However, our property at Binsar- The Grand Oak Manor situated right inside the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary generates electricity through solar panels.
What about the garbage and human waste disposal system? Do you have a specific system in place?
Organic and Inorganic waste is segregated. We have pits for recycling organic waste and inorganic waste is collected by the authorities on a daily basis from our properties.
What do you do for fuel?
We use CNG vehicles as far as required for property usage.

Is there any other environment-friendly system at the resort? Tell us what is it and its use.
To reduce the negative impact on nature/environment, we at Tree of Life Resorts and Spa, contribute a percentage of our monthly earnings towards various renewable projects in our area; continuously creating an awareness amongst our team members and our guests of the impact of greenhouse gases; using all possible means of renewable energy and advocating the dire need for water harvesting, conservation and recycling.
Further, we at Tree of Life Resort and Spa work on the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The three Rs form the basics of the work schedule of each team member at the resort. Based on this, not only do we consciously try and reduce the amount of waste we generate, we also reuse what we can, both internally and within the local community, and send as much as we can for recycling.
