“Ms. Mathur, we could have thought of employing you right away, if you had at least an experience of 6 months. You are just out of college and college education does not help once you start working. I’ll keep your application on file and get back to you if something comes up,” the man concluded the interview.
Radha came out of the cabin dejected. She must have given a dozen interviews like that and most people across the table would tell her exactly the same thing. She would wonder most of the time if she would ever be given a chance to gain experience at all. Tears flooded her eyes and as she was not looking where she was going, she bumped into something hard. She blinked and the hard thing transformed itself into a bearded, bespectacled man of about 27.
“Watch it,” the man said steadying her.
“Sorry,” she whispered and walked away slowly.
