Actor Imran Khan will soon complete 3 decades in the entertainment industry. However, the actor keeps coming up with new ways to keep his audience enthralled. The actor-director is all set to release a mini-series Nancy, which is a depiction of a middle-class family and how they make ends meet in difficult situations such as a lockdown.
“Nancy is a real-life based story, we can find families like these all around us due to the existing Covid-19 pandemic. Not many people know the difficulty and compromises people have been making or going through during this pandemic. With this mini-series, I wish that people understand that even though the times we are living in right now are difficult, situations will change and improve and all we have to do is have faith and not forget our roots and values,” explained the actor-director, Imran Khan, when asked about his mini-series.
When asked about his inspiration behind this mini-series Imran further added, “I came up with this idea during the lockdown itself and I made sure to be ready with all the preparations for the shoot as I knew I wanted to shoot it as soon as the lockdown was lifted. I hope people appreciate the labor of our work and understand what we are trying to portray via this mini-series.”
The mini-series also stars Charu Kadariya, Pritti Cheshtta, Sonia, Rahul Vats and Amita Nangia. The 4 episodic is written and directed by the actor himself Imran Khan. He is also one of the cast. The mini-series will be available on MX player and Ullu.
