1. If you are afflicted by too much cough, all you have to do is suck on 7 peppercorns every day. The coughing will go.
2. Summertime means all sorts of itching including prickly heat. Soak 3 teaspoons of poppy seeds in water for some time and grind it to a paste. Grate a coconut separately and remove the milk from it. Mix the poppy seeds’ paste and coconut milk and massage the mixture on the entire body. Take a bath immediately. The itching will go.
3. In summer there is another affliction that irritates people – runny nose. Mix some turmeric powder and carom (ajwain) seeds. Sprinkle this mixture on a lighted piece of charcoal placed on a small bowl with a handle. If you inhale the smoke, the runny nose will go. If charcoal is not available, 2 pieces of camphor can be substituted instead of it.
