Our Take: I am always skeptical while using oils other than coconut oil for my hair due to my sinusitis. If any of the ingredients are cooling, my sinusitis could flare up. Though this has castor oil a very cooling ingredient, I went ahead to apply it for a couple of hours and then washed it off. Probably I used it during summer and did not allow it to stay long, I did not get sinusitis. When I washed the hair, it was so smooth and silky. They did not have the usual brittleness, frizz and knots.
It stayed the same way for 3 days. I don’t go out for work often and my hair are not subjected to outside weather conditions most of the times. But given the severe summer conditions here in Mumbai, even being indoors can attract grime. We perspire as well. So that gets mixed with grime and the condition of the hair results in a bad hair day. But that did not happen with this oil.
