The Spider’s Web (Part XIII and Concluding Part)

“But, how could Roma communicate with her sister when she was tortured by her in-laws? They must have kept her under 24 hours surveillance.”
“Yes, they did. But, they did the mistake of allowing one little girl, a neighbor to meet her privately in her room. Roma and the girl were very close to each other from the beginning when she had just come into the house after marriage. Her in-laws did not want the neighbors to get suspicious of their activities so they did not stop the frequent visits of the girl. Besides, they thought that a little girl would not do anything against them. Roma was smart enough to ask her sister to send the letters to the neighbor’s address.
“Rita nurtured a feeling of revenge, the moment she heard of her sister’s death. She had continued to pursue her medical profession in America. She returned to India and asked her father to get her married to the same man as her sister had done. Everything went as she had planned, even the freak accidents, but, she had not done anything! Even an attempt was made on her life. She had not attempted suicide. However, Fakar Singh had discretely dropped the tranquilizer tablets in her glass of milk.
Unknown to everybody, Fakar Singh had nominated a Mr. F Khurana as the claimant of the entire insurance sum. Forging came easy to him. But, there was a problem, Rita! This was because she had seen him kill his elder brother or at least he thought she did. The last person left to be eliminated was Rita. He tried to frame her for the murders. But, when he was not successful, he tried to run her down, today. I recognized him as Mr. Khurana, I found at that 5-star hotel. He could not be followed, but, I knew he would try another chance at the hospital. To throw the suspicion away from him, he not just he feigned death, but also made himself up in such a way that he would not be recognized. I wonder what are Rita’s plans for the future.”
“She is going back to America to pursue medicine, this time with her parents.”
“She’s so fortunate to be out of the spider’s web.”
