Now-a-days; given the fact that people tend to have fast food, their untimely eating habits and their eating rapidly; acid formation in stomach is very common. Lemon is acidic because of citric acid in it. But it is a weak acid, so it becomes alkaline during digestion.

  1. Add 2 teaspoons of ginger juice, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of pure honey in a glass of warm water and have it.
  2. Have tender coconut water and eat the pulp inside it.
  3. Orange as an entire fruit or in the juice form also reduces acidity.

In some cases, just a glass of warm water with a pinch of sugar and a pinch of table salt can work. This can be had twice a day or frequently.
