Now-a-days; given the fact that people tend to have fast food, their untimely eating habits and their eating rapidly; acid formation in stomach is very common. Lemon is acidic because of citric acid in it. But it is a weak acid, so it becomes alkaline during digestion.
- Add 2 teaspoons of ginger juice, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of pure honey in a glass of warm water and have it.
- Have tender coconut water and eat the pulp inside it.
- Orange as an entire fruit or in the juice form also reduces acidity.
In some cases, just a glass of warm water with a pinch of sugar and a pinch of table salt can work. This can be had twice a day or frequently.
