Fatafat Snacks

Gram flour – 3 parts
Refined flour – 1 part
Rice flour – 1 part
Corn flour – 1/2 part
Chilli powder – to taste
Salt – to taste
Asafoetida – 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger powder – 1 teaspoon
Ajwain – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
Vegetables – spinach (chopped), cabbage (chopped), carrot (grated), onion (chopped)

Method: Dry mix all the ingredients together. Add enough water to make pakora batter (semi-solid). Heat oil and fry small parts of the batter into pakoras. Serve with sauce, mint chutney, mixed herb chutney, coriander chutney or protein chutney. Even these pakoras can be added to sambhar before serving with rice.
