Today, we are posting the eighth A of the 8-part murder mystery – Noise is Good. It became a trifle longer than expected. There are B and C sub-parts as well. So, stay tuned! You can refer to the seventh part here.
Part 8A
Nitya convinced Jadhav to join forces with them in the bid to find the real killer. Nitya’s attempt fructified, that night. A man entered the darkened flat of the dead woman, opening the door with keys and using a knife attacked a sleeping person in the master bedroom! When the lights were switched on, Pooja identified the man. The man was Pramesh!
What had happened was, when Jadhav had called up Pramesh, he had dillydallied about his return home by saying that he did not believe it was the police, who had called him. He had said, “You are connected to our neighbors. Pooja must have arranged this call.”
Jadhav was angry and had, then, made Pramesh’s teenage daughter speak to him. The girl said, crying, “Papa, they are right. Mom is dead.”
Pramesh began to cry over the phone and told Jadhav, who took up the call again, “We are an ideal couple and family in the building. My wife has been an inspiration to everybody. We have been rising in status every 4-5 days due to her. Pooja is jealous of us. And it is not possible for Vageshwari to have committed suicide!”
