Face Packs

In today’s hectic life, be it working women or housewives, due to the fact that they have to go out in the sun, they get discoloration of facial skin, dark patches, blemishes, etc. People today prefer organic products. Some people make their own products at home. Here are some tips for you:


Cleansing: Wash your face well with mild soap and pat towel to dry. Take raw and thick milk. Add 2-3 drops of lemon juice. Mix with a clean finger. It should be mixed thoroughly. Using a sterilized cotton ball, dab the mixture on the face and then smear it all over. Leave it for 3 minutes. With a fresh cotton ball, clean it off.

Scrub: Take some curd. Add some sugar. Mix it well. Apply to entire face and scrub it for 3-5 minutes and wash.

Face Packs:

  1. Soak masoor dal (split red lentil) over night. Next day grind it in milk. If possible use a stone grinder. Apply this paste as a pack. Leave it on for 15 minutes to ½ an hour depending on the time available to you. Post that wash your face.
  2. Take some white sandalwood powder. Add some wheat flour, a little turmeric powder and white mustard powder. Add rose water to it and use the mixture as a pack. Leave it on for 15 minutes to ½ an hour and then wash it off.
  3. Soak soya bean over night. Grind this into a thick paste with milk. Add a little curd and apply. Wash after 15 minutes to ½ an hour.

Do this routine for at least 48 days. Take a selfie before using and after completing 48 days. Compare them.
