Fruity Health Tips (Part II)

  1. Crush and separate juices of 2 oranges and 3 tomatoes. Add honey to the mixture and consume. It will be cooling to the body and it is good for weight loss.
  2. Boil the rind that remains after juices of the above fruits are removed with 3 glasses of water. Add 2-3 pieces of tamarind and salt to taste. ½ spoon rasam powder is to be added to it. Then add a little less than a ½ spoon of pepper powder and 1 pinch asafoetida. Boil. Consume like a soup with honey. It is good for weight loss. It also reduces sinusitis, common cold and influenza.
  3. Crush an apple with a large glass of milk and add honey to consume. All health issues related to the digestive system is taken care of by this mixture.
