Mysore Fashion Week – 2022 Announced

Season 6 of Mysore Fashion Week which is scheduled in the month of December 2022, promises a royal treat for sore eyes with eminent fashion designers, top models and renowned celebrities attending it.

The Jury includes – Jayanthi Ballal (Founder Mysore Fashion Week), Sunny Kamble (Supermodel & Pageant Trainer), Kavita Kharayat (Supermodel & Pageant Trainer), Asif Merchant (Fashion Designer) and Parimal Mehta (CEO- Blanckanvas Media Pvt. Ltd.).

Mysore Fashion Week is back with yet another royal season this year. The 3 day mega event exclusively comprises top fashion designers, models, editors, fashion bloggers, media and press, buyers, stylists and key fashion influencers, ensuring every fashion enthusiast gains exposure to a unique audience.

The casting, which took place on October 30, 2022 for December’s show, was held at Fida The Design School in Chennai, which included the biggest names from the fashion & lifestyle industry – Jayanthi Ballal, Sunny Kamble, Kavita Kharayat, Asif Merchant and Parimal Mehta selected the models for the fashion week.  By the end of the day, the jury selected a bunch of models, some new, some old for the much anticipated Mysore Fashion Week.

The fashion week is orchestrated by ace designer Jayanthi Ballal, who has garnered immense support over the years from the fashion industry and it has contributed massively in putting Mysore on the global fashion map. Over the years, she has perfectly orchestrated this fashion week leading to its success. This four-day fashion event is going to be all about stunning designs, glamour and a happening after party for everyone involved in the making of this grand event to let their hair down and celebrate another successful event.

Jayanthi Ballal said, “There is so much talent in India but no platform to showcase them. Mysore Fashion Week is on a quest to give new talent wings to fly and help them explore their credentials. Our vision is to mentor newcomers looking for that deserving break in the Indian Fashion Industry and give them a platform to show the world their knack for fashion.”
